Flavorista was an initiative to introduce and promote menu of Malaysian cuisines throughout the world as operated by Malaysia Kitchen.
Established in 2012 by a group of Food & Beverage experts with an innovative idea, Flavorista aims to offer a simplifying, hassle free as well as cost saving method of preparing food, may it be at home or industrial kitchen, without compromising on quality and authenticity.
Innovative idea of Flavorista started in Johor Bahru at a production outlet where blended coffee and other beverage products are produce in powder forms. Planning was then executed to create a premix powder for Mee Udang (prawn noodle).
“Flavorista ingin menyasarkan kepada golongan pelajar IPT bagi membantu mereka mendapatkan menu makanan yang bermutu serta berkhasiat dengan harga yang lebih murah serendah RM3-RM4 per pek. Ia juga bagi membantu mereka bagi mengurangkan tekanan kos sara hidup yang tinggi masa kini,” said Encik Norisham Baharin, Director of Flavorista (M) Sdn Bhd.
Encik Norisham introduced 6 new exciting flavours of Flavorista during the launching event, which are Sambal Tumis, Masak Merah (spicy tomato), Asam Pedas (spicy tamarind), Masak Kung Pao, Masak Kicap (soy sauce), and Perapan BBQ (barbeque). All you need to do is pour, mix, boil, and ready to serve the dish in less than 15 minutes. He hopes that these new recipes will receive good response from the consumers.
To let more public know about Flavorista, the company had participated in many events before such as the Halal Chefpreneur Challenge Asian Halfest in 2017 and was announced as a winner in the competition. Listed in the Malaysia Book of Records for preparing the most number of instant powder recipe cooked within 30 minutes by a single chef.
Flavorista established a new processing facilities at Puchong Selangor in 2018 to cope with the incresing demand from consumers. The company also obtained HACCP certification from Ministry of Health, and Malaysia HALAL certified from Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) to ensure the quality of its range of cooking premix powders.
