Thanks for the wonderful invitation, I recently went to the launching event of Coco Steamboat’s latest outlet in the Scott Garden, Old Klang Road. The home-grown hotpot restaurant now features a family-friendly concept with modern interiors and spacious dining areas while maintaining its signature favourites.
The launch of the 22,600 square foot restaurant follows a relocation and reconceptualization of the previous outlet, also situated within the Old Klang Road vicinity. With a new concept sees a more family centric dining environment, Coco Steamboat now accommodates a capacity of 600 pax with more than 10 VIP tables and function areas.
Serving #JUGUATBO since 2005, Coco Steamboat is one of the pioneer that brings traditional flavoured pork bone broth to its audience in Kuala Lumpur, a family recipe passed down from the previous generations.
To pair with the #JUGUATBO perfectly, Coco Steamboat collaborates with a range of local producers across Malaysia.
From local fishermen who hand dive and line catch the freshest seafood , to the farmers who rear quality products with superior flavour and texture for the table.
The uniqueness of Coco Steamboat is attributed to 3 core values :
* A strong heritage that resulted in recipes derived from an illustrious family heritage that transcends generations.
* A sincere mind-set to constantly add value to customers by giving the best dining experience from table to taste.
* An authentic art of broth making to ensure a standard of richness and flavour in every pot, allowing the restaurant to constantly exceed expectations.
Mr. Wong, owner of Coco Steamboat said, “We have been around for almost 15 years now and one thing we are proud about despite the immense competition in our segment is the pure fact that we are a home-grown hotpot brand. We have created a name for ourselves in the area by quickly becoming a neighborhood favorite and with this relaunch, we aim to remain relevant and bring our customers bigger and better dining experiences.”
Coco Steamboat established its first outlet in Cheras back in 2005, before branching out to Old Klang Road and Sungai Long for its second and third outlet respectively.
A relocation and revamp of the existing outlet in Old Klang Road, the launch see a new concept that emphasizes contemporary comfort, whilst still maintaining an authentic and seasonal flare with a focus on fresh, local ingredients.
