Packed with nutrients like calcium, phosphorus, B vitamins, potassium and vitamin D, milk is good for our health in many ways. I have been drinking milk for years now, and recently came across this Arla Organic Milk. Here are some of the reasons why I think this product is better to boost my overall health and immune system :
Made with sustainability and animal welfare in mind, Arla is creating the future of dairy, bringing health and inspiration to the world naturally. Complied fully with controlled organic standards, the Arla Organic Milk is simple, natural, wholesome and nutritious. I like the organic milk’s taste, and it satisfies something deeper, feeding our body and soul with natural goodness.
Immune system is important to protect our body from viruses and bacteria. Without it, you’d be constantly falling sick especially during pandemic outbreak. Organic milk has higher level of key nutrients that support our overall health and immune system. It contains slightly higher concentrations of iron, Vitamin E, some carotenoids, and more conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which some studies have linked to weight loss and cancer fighting properties.
As the world’s largest organic dairy producer, Arla is able to provide great quality yet affordable organic milk for everyone. It contains calcium and protein of organic cow’s milk for the whole family to enjoy every day. Calcium helps to support development of strong bones and teeth whilst protein helps in tissue building and growth. If you have lactose sensitivity like me, Arla Organic Milk is lactose-free gentle to your digestive system.
Living a lifestyle based upon the concept of organic seems to be a growing trend in our society. It means a lot more than just feeding the right type of nutrition into our body, but also emphasizes a relation between ourselves and the natural world.
Arla’s global strategy for sustainable dairy farming focuses on 3 core areas – climate, animals and nature. For example, the cows that produce Arla Organic Milk are free range, meaning they are grazed outside whenever possible. They are only brought indoor when it would be detrimental to their welfare to be outside, for instance, if weather conditions are unsuitable.
The organic cows graze outdoors on grass and clover and no artificial fertilisers or herbicides are used. Instead, Arla rely on crop rotation, well-timed cultivation and careful selection of crop varieties to control weeds and pests, and to maintain fertility. Their system of farming encourages wildlife by avoiding manufactured chemical sprays. No GM animal feed is used and antibiotics are not used routinely.
This gives consumers like me the emotional security for food safety, the animals, and environment as we choose Arla Organic Milk for our daily consumption.
By choosing to buy organic milk you also guarantee that audited inspections are carried out and additional standards are met on animal welfare and sustainability.
Arla is a farmer owned cooperative where the farmers are passionate about what they do and proud of the milk they produce. It is good to know that I am supporting the farmers and their families when I purchase any Arla product.
Strong families value the time together. Arla believes to keep our community strong, and our families stronger.
To support the frontliners in battling the COVID-19 pandemic, Arla recently did a CSR project from 14 until 29 April 2020 to distribute 3,000 boxes of organic milk at various locations like roadblocks, police hostels, hospitals, and shelter homes.
The CSR project was in line with the company value to focus on “The Greater Good”, where we build on each other’s strength, inspire one another and every moment is a chance to nurture and grow together.
100% European certified organic free range milk from Denmark, Arla is halal compliant and is free from antibiotics, pesticides, hormones and preservatives. For those who are interested to try it out, you can buy it at Giant Hypermarket, Cold Storage, and Mercato for RM12.90 per box of 1 litre, or RM25.90 for twin pack of 1 litre.
