Thanks to the wonderful invitation, I recently visited baci Italian Cafe that located inside the Citta Mall Ara Damansara for their latest revamped food menu. baci served a wide array of Italian-inspired cafe style food from gourmet handmade sandwich and salad, which diners get to pick their favorite toppings and ingredients, to tasty pizza, pasta, soup and cake.

Inspired by the European coffee culture, baci’s concept was based on the essence of a typical Italian-styled cafe in a neighborhood setting. Furnished with wooden fixtures, an open kitchen and indoor as well as alfresco seating, baci was a cozy and friendly place ideal for the casual gathering at any day of the week.

Chicken and Mushroom Pie (RM18.90)

Be transported to gastronomic heaven with my favorite dish of the night, this hearty pie with rich creamy sauce that loaded with 2 hours slow-cooked goodness was topped with beautiful puffy pastry.

How to eat? Just scoop the pastry into the savory thick broth that cooked together with leek, chicken breast, mushrooms, carrots, chat potatoes, green peas and a dash of Italian herbs. Soft pastry soaked up well all the wonderful essence, oh I love it!
